My Tromso GirlShe was the greatest girl a man could ever know
Knowing this, she moved away from me to Tromso
She spoke Norwegian and I'm a Finn
We didn't understand a word of what the other said

wet palms, dry mouths
boys and girls thrusting while
time pushes hard against itself
desperate embers of the cloves lit
outside where the junkies fix in haste
begging for angels to save
us from this fucking waste of life
we've become one and
you're my speed, my fix, my sweet lifeblood
you have my heart, you own my soul
you fill my worthless veins
you make me whole
crying quietly alone in the dark
